Abstract: Suppose we have number of sensors identified by indexes 1 to N each related to a source that is either active or inactive. The set of sensors is sampled in parallel at regular intervals of wine and a record is made of the output of only one of the sensors, randomly chosen from the set if more than one source is active at any sampling instant. The record that results is a mixed sequence of these general outputs of the active sources and is chosen by it.
